Social life? What's that? Haha I'm 18 so should technically be clubbing and going out all the time but I just seem to be shovelling horse $h*t and riding! Don't mind it though...keeps me out of trouble ;)

I am out 3 often 4 times a week with friends; pub, each other's house, picnic, walk, clubbing etc with a few bottles of wine usually ;)

But i am very lucky not too much spare money but i have no OH or children just the ponio to sort twice a day so my time is my own :) x

I'm okay at the moment because I'm a student and live in a shared flat with some of my (non-horsey!) friends, but when I'm home for the holidays I become a crazy recluse and spend my time riding, covered in mud and forgetting to have a shower :p

My best friends are not horsey at all - one is actually very allergic to horses - last year I barely saw them between April and September and I missed out on a lot.

I've decided this year that I won't be competing as much so that I can spend more time with them!

I usually see at least one of them once a week/fortnight and am looking forward to spending more time with them this year!

Ha ha, I manage ok to see my friends every few weeks. I moved to the country so have to make a special effort... I have long since learned NEVER to ride when hung over though! Sundays are lunge days!!!!! Lol!!!! I have even been known to call in to do evening feeds while dressed in my 'going out' gear...
Hubby is a surfer so he has surfy mates that we go out with too, they just talk about waves etc.
I am expecting my social life to totally end soon when my baby is born though. Will have to sacrifice something and it certainly won't be horses :)

Lunging when hungover?!? That would make me vom.... All that going round in circles!
However a morning (well late morning...;)) hack out in the fresh air is key to the whole recovering from last night process...normally followed by macdonalds :p
