Some things I can't live without in my tack room to make life easier, I wanted to know what others can't live without in theirs.

I have my fold up camping chairs.
Hot water and hand soap.
Tack room phone so I can get my husband to bring out coffee or give me a hand with things.

Sorry if this threads been done before.

Washing machine!! (With large capacity)
Desk chair - great for wheeling round tack room eg when cleaning tack.
Kettle
Electric heater
Metal shop display grids - I have an array of attachments that hook onto the grid, such as shelves for tack boxes, hooks for towels etc, and most useful hat display hooks for helmets! It really is a useful bit of kit and keeps floor space free :).
Do all of these count as non-horsey?!

Wipes, hot chocolate supply, chocolate and biccies! Folding camping chair, giant traditional Witney blanket to wrap up in when it's freezing plus little electric heater for those freezing days when you just want to re-heat after riding your 5th lot!

You all have posh tack rooms, I was going to say kettle and human first aid kit!

I need to buy a bench to put on the yardso we have somewhere to sit other than on a straw bale!

Haha brilliant !

Quick question, anyone dust their tack rooms? I hate seeing dirty shelves with nice things I've paid a lot for sitting in yuck lol

I love my shed come tack room its so basic no electric not fancy but after 4 years with chests in the mud and slugs its my mini haven. I so appretiate it! I dust it regular its all organised with themnplastic shelf units, have saddle racks and hooks and a step thing plus deck chairs. Getting stables and barn soon cant wait! My oh and friends laugh as am so anal with it but I love it! Just bought a decent lcd hanging lamp which lights the whole thing up ;) just need yo deal eith mud problem outside now.

Kettle, fridge (to keep milk etc in, cold drinks in summer and biscuits/chocolate), hot water, fairy liquid, chair, stool, towels, tissues, heater and the calendar!

There's a theme here that means I need to put some biscuits in there and I know I need a clock and heater !

I do dust mine and try to keep it as clean as possible but it's so old it seems to generate grubbyness from nothing.

Patio furniture in for the winter. 6 cats - who think the furniture is for their convenience.
Hand towels, cannot manage without hand towels.

That's it.

The house, bathrooms, kitchen and a roaring fire is 30m away :) (I'm not roughing it in a barn if I don't have to. :D)

Ok, so mine is not so much "room" as shed. It has spiders and their webs and a bit of a rodent issue. There are cracks in the walls, courtesy of the earthquakes and the racks etc are all just rails hung from the ceiling with electric fence tape. I do have a kettle, but it gets used for heating water for washing horses, but my essential is muesli bars - in a tin 'cos I don't like sharing them with the mice.

Another who has to have clean towels but I am OCD about horse towels as well I hate dirty towels .
I have a electric clothes airer for drying thermatexs and warming rugs for them returning from hunting.
Handcream
Bag full of pairs of gloves .
I would love a chair but theres not room.
A mirror and a clock and a radio.
