Do these exist?!

I need one that doesn’t have noseband straps either side as using with a combination bit. All the ones I can find seem to be the monocrown style.

I’ve looked at the sabre sensitive ones but can’t tell if these are monocrown or not from the pictures on the website? I don’t think their traditional one is, but not sure about the sensitive…

Not sure if they still make the same style but I have an old (10 years?) FSS bridle that has a padded headpiece with noseband strap that threads over the poll at the top and just has a buckle on the left. It doesn’t however have the cutaway shape for the ears.

English Bridles make them but they do have slits in to thread a normal noseband through which may still not suit

Ooo thank you, I must have one of their old style bridles because mine just has a standard traditional headpiece. I’ll have a look at them.

I don’t mind having a slit for a normal noseband as might revert to the kineton if the combination bit doesn’t suit. I currently am using a spare headpiece from another bridle in the traditional style but am finding it just doesn’t sit very nicely on him despite a browband which is plenty big enough.

the last time I looked they had two sorts, one more deeply cut away behind the ears than the other.
My pony has one of their comfort headpieces and goes really well in it.

Lovely bridles, but they are monocrown, so can't reasonably be used without a noseband.

Here's one of mine. I could loan you a FS havana Sabre Cordoba sensitive bridle with an English cavesson noseband to try for fit if you do go down that route :). It's not up for sale but it's not currently being used.

Collegiate - or a better option would be to get a saddler adapt your combination noseband?

That’s very kind, thank you! I think I’ll have to stick to trying to find something non-monocrown though as don’t fancy trying to fit a cavesson around the hackamore part (although people say you can, I think it would just be messy)

Ooo that is perfect! I’ve been eyeing their bridles up for ages, haven’t seen that one before!

Barefoot do one, although I don’t know if the cheeks would be short enough

I've just bought one of these, impressed with the quality but I over estimated the size of my horses head so won't be keeping it. If you're anywhere near me op you're welcome to try it
