My (nearly) yearling likes to push and throw his feed bowl around when eating. He only has a stud balancer so there isn't much in the bowl and I'm worried he is ending up wasting it. He is fed in the field and I have started looking at non-tip feeders. I don't want to use a bucket wedged in a tyre or one weighted down.

Has anyone used either ...

?? Would they be robust to stand up to two yearlings??

Thanks

For the field, I use feeding bowls like the one in your first link, the horselyx holder. Thanks for posting this, I need a third one and have been looking for a while!
They're safe and are pretty tip proof.

ETA I think I prefer it to the other two feeders you linked to, though the designs are interesting. Simplest is usually best IMHO.

I had the same issue and went with a hook over bucket to hang on the stable door / gate which also stops him standing in it, little shite that he is!

Thanks everyone. Thanks Tiddlypom for putting the pictures up! I think I will go with one of the plain square ones which you can put some water in to weigh down.
