After I said merrily on on of the balloting posts that our Scottish events rarely ballot, the first one of the season is! Ive just renewed membership and entered for the above yesterday. Im sure last year I could see my ballot sticker number thingies in my BE online account but now cant find them. Im assuming its just taking a couple of days for my membership renewal to go through? Otherwise, where can your ballot numbers be found so I can use one??

Im not sure. Ive emailed them to see if I can add one after entering. Will let you know the reply

They so rarely ballot up here, I didnt even think to use a sticker.

I thought it mite ballot cos there hasn't been any early events in scotland or the north of england at all this year so put i ballot sticker on just incase! glad i did now! Hope u manage 2 get in!

i wouldn't worry about it to be honest, a huge number of those entered for Kirrie will be day ticket holders...particularly for the intro and pre novice...so long as you're a member you will be fine!

are you planning on taking both of yours M-M?

Also, has anyone else noticed that the dates for entries opening on the web, and in the mag for Brechin are different?
Web says last sat, magazine says this saturday...

Yes!! I just posted my entry and then saw on the Brechin website the different date. Double checked with BE website and it says last Saturday too, so I don't know what's going on.

I do mine online usually, and Brechin only just appeared on BDWP, it says entries open this saturday coming too...

I know lots of people have already posted though.

Okay, dumb question.

Now emailing the entries secretary for Kirriemuir re balloting. Having never had to use a ballot sticker before, do I use the one for March because the ballot is 23rd March, or do I use the one for April because the event is 13th April?

you use april, because on the schedule, where it tells you the opening and closing dates, it tells you the ballot period. you use the corresponding sticker to what ever month that says!

thebigman - Nahh, just planning to take my main horse to Kirrie and Scone, my other horse will do Brechin. Im hoping Brechin wont end up balloting as my other horse isnt reg so he'll be the first to go! You?

I got a message from the sec from Kirrie, she said novice shouldnt be balloting so I should be ok. It'll be the other 2 classes probably. So if any of you are in the intro or PN, Id send in a ballot number asap!

Yeah, Im confused about Brechin. It said entries via their own website but nothing on there, but have seen it on BDWP today - so Saturday entries open?

yeah, i looked on their own website and there is nothing, i think it will just divert you to bdwp once the entries are open. will shove mine in on monday i think!
Balloting aside, planning to intro Connor at Kirrie, Brechin and Scone 1, then up to PN (give or take) for the remainder...

Yeah, Ill have a look at Brechin again on Saturday and check if entries open.

You planning on doing all the rest of the Scottish events? I plan to do most except those Glasgow way as thats too far! Im hoping to aim my main horse at the CIC 1* at Burgie if we manage to sort out our dodgy jumping of trakheners! Otherwise my Welshie will just do 3 or 4 intro's on tickets, Im not sure if he'll ever go PN as we cant even make the time at intro! Fatty Welshie...

GL with Kirrie ballot.

cheers, starting to get a little worried now to be honest, the entry numbers just keep on sliding up and up, but i did use a ballot sticker and book overnight stabling...
yes planning to do the rest, except the two north west, and will also depend on how my bank balance holds up! weren't you maybe thinking of the intermediate at auchinleck?
