Normal healing time

Spoke to my vet today and he said it can take up to 4 weeks for my mare to come sound after a nasty fall which was 2 weeks ago nearly now. She is still on 2 danilon a day and now on controlled exercise. Vet thinks muscle brusing? She had a lump its now gone, all the fluid she had on all 4 legs has gone. No marks to be seen for another cause to lameness, and def not lami.

Just fed up of having a lame horse, she is fed up as well being very moody and started to bite again which she does when stressed out.

Anyone elses horses taken this long to heal or do we think its something else hidden causing lameness? She has spavins which now sound has been for long time and splint damage that she has been sound on for year now.

Why don't you ask your vet if physio would help? Or even massage?

Thanks vet is out again next week as now not sure if something new going on. Anyone recomment a good back person who covers Bath area?

Not sure about her have seen badly fitted saddles she has done really want mctimonthy type person if anyone knows of a good one
