North Wales Beaches?

Hi, Does anyone know if there are any beaches on North Wales coast where I would be able to ride on Easter weekend? Hoping to visit family in Chester and take horses for a ride on beach if possible.

I'm currently in N. Wales but I'm miles from any beaches. It would be nice to know places that other people recommend.

Talacre is a really good horsey beach with parking prob half hour from Chester : )

I went last weekend and can really recommend it. Miles of sand and dunes.

Just watch at low tide for really soft sand especially around the lighthouse.

Thanks, been to Talacre once before and it was amazing but it was years ago so I wasn't sure if you were still allowed on. So next question, where can you park and does anyone have any idea of tide times on sun 8th April or where I can find them?

Another vote for Talacre. It's not likely that that the weather will still be brilliant at Easter, but if it is, and tides allow, (Google for times) look out for holiday makers! There is a local Riding school who ride on the beach so you will usually see hoofprints to follow to be safe, unless the tide is just going out. It's a huge beach.

Thanks thats all great. I really hope I can organise it now and that tide works in our favour. Pictures look fab. I went on a fun ride there about 10 years ago and had the most amazing gallop.
