Does anyone know where there is a list available?
Tried various google searches with not much luck, beyond the one or two we already know of.
I am looking for something suitable for a 14.2hh and young teenage rider, who is just not quite ready for Eventing Ireland pony classes this year, but hopefully next.
Hunter trials or one day events would be ideal, but training sessions or clinics would be great too.
Thank you

don't know where you are based: but here are a few (in no particular order)

Laurelview outside Glengormley,

Tullymurray, outside Downpatrick,

Kircubbin, outside Newtownards, (quite a long and complicated drive, but really good course)

Gransha, outside Bangor

Ballyvannon, off the main Nutts Corner to Moira road
If you are new to this, try buying the Farm Week published on Thursdays, it always has masses of events, ie cross-country schooling, pony/riding club events etc.

another one is Eric Pele's on the way to Ballynahinch.

Hope you find something soon

where abouts in NI are you?

not sure of a list you can access but I know of a few north of belfast & into north antrim - most places don't have websites

tullymurry have good clinics & places like laurel view have go as you please & 2 phase SJ/Cross country

Moira Equestrian Centre has a course - looks good on the photos on their website but never personally been

Thanks everyone.... useful ideas. I am asking for my niece, she's on the Tyrone, Fermanagh border and there seems to be a shortage of cross country courses in that area (Necarne obviously excepted). She has been to Moira and that's really what she's looking for, but a bit closer to home.

Sorry, I wouldn't really know of much in that particular area!!

Some of the riding schools might have XC courses tucked away - alternatively you/she could try contacting the pony club and asking if they know of any other venues

If you joined the pony club then you should have more access to little odes being run; the home championships were on yesterday and is the champ ode for 65cm, 75cm and 85cm levels.

I know for a fact that tullymurray is holding a 2 phase (or could be a 3 phase) on the 11th september up to 3f3.
Cloncaw just on the border runs a lot of 2 phases, as does ravensdale 10mins from newry.

Have a look at Castle Leslie as well - you can bring your own horse there and ride around their XC (I think they do go as you please one sunday a month) and then they have a wee ODE in Sept/Oct time. They have a 'proper' xc course but also loads of trails with smallish fences that you can just canter round, real confidence-building stuff
Its just across the border from Fermanagh in Monaghan, definitely not far.
Fermanagh pony club are based at Necarne, they are small but do clinics and so on (my OH used to teach them sometimes)

Thank you. I'll pass on all the suggestions. She is a Pony Club member, but it seems a little different to here in England, there isn't as much at branch level in terms of xc where she is.
I love Castle Leslie... last time I was there I got a fantastically whizzy 14hh who tore round any of the fences I pointed him at!

Also in Co Monaghan - Tirnaskea Connemara's (few miles outside of Monaghan) have a cross country - more rustic than the lovely Moira place I think. Also there is a cross country course in Cootehill on Cavan/Monaghan border - roads to get there wouldn't be as good as they would to Moira although shorter distance. Can't think of any others in Fermanagh. I know of another one near Tyrone/Monaghan border but its at someone's house and not that well kept when I viewed it recently. Castle Leslie and Cloncaw as others have mentioned would be good and easy to get to.
