id like to know the capabilties of horse required.

n what type of jumps, land etc

Where i am now we are very big stone wall, with a few ditches, hedges, rails etc.
 
im the huntsman for the North Down

its a mixed farming country with a increase in wire so a horse willing enough to jump wire (clever horse).
there is alot of hunt jumps in parts of our country and other parts there be stone walls we dont do alot of road work like many packs in the North we are able to cross the country.
we do alot of jumping if you have a horse that will jump diches,walls,headges you get across our country.
the members here all like different types of horse but id say a cob would suit this country better. hope to see you out hunting with us this coming season
