a friend is driving a horse to aberdeen today and needs somewhere to stop on route preferably yorkshire cumbria area. is an eventer so trying ruth edge no joy so far any suggestions would be welcome. as wont get ther til late this evening prefer near a main road so can find it easily!

Could try Richmond Equestrian Centre in N Yorks - only about 5miles off A1 and there is a big livery yard so could might have a spare box.

There's a horse B&B place in Cumbria Ive heard people use on the way up here. Try some of those horse B&B listing websites.

Sorry, if I'd spotted this earlier, she could have stayed at our yard. We're only a few miles over the Border.
