Northumberland where to live?!

So I am moving house to Northumberland. I work from home so I am looking for somewhere in the countryside but not too far out with a really decent livery yard nearby. Hopefully quite a big one as I am not going to know anyone and would like to make some new friends. Any suggestions please?!

Oh hell travellingpony you'll have to narrow it down a bit, Northumberland is a big county!! However if I was going to relocate it would be to the Morpeth area. Several large yards which hold regular competitions and have great facilities coupled by Druridge Bay for a 7 mile long canter, plus the shops and nightlife.

I'd spend a bit of time up here and have a look as there is a lot of variation!

I'd try around Hexham areas or try north of Ponteland (Belsay/Capheaton area) - lovely there but then I'm biased. Good livery yards around both of these areas. If you need any more info PM me!

Narrowed it down now. Looking at a house at Ellingham. Have phoned Shipley Lane Equestrian any others nearby? I want come for a couple of days and view a few if anyone has anything to suggest?
