Well went to Norton Heath today for the BSJA and am very very proud of my babies!

Did the BN And 1M And it was wahoosive!! (my term for massive!!) NH really beefs it up outside it was 2 phase so around 20 jumping efforts with all the fillers walls in the world and a water tray.

Well i'll keep it short!!! Spider jumped clear round to 9 so on to timed section and just had the planks so just 4 faults! She jumped her socks off bless her!! Then on to Connor he was a super star not looking at a thing and had twio down just couldnt turn in time and got to deep! Then on to the 1m class which was by FAR the biggest course Spider has ever done, she again pinged round just having number 2 down so 4 FAULTS!

she jumped her socks off today and really tried. Then on to Connor again super duper just having 8faults again, as they much bigger it really showed up we didnt know each other too well by by the end of the course we had got a much beter rythym. So all in all VERY pleased!! Considering they have both done about 2 BSJA shows! And never jumped a 1M class!! And are both just 5! (oh and I have ridden Connor about 4 times!!!

Oh and took themboth XC schooling @ Stratford Hills last weekend and they were both really good. So as Connor was so good we may be purchasing him!! how exciting! Anyway self indulgent post over!

Blimey, Connor must be good if youre thinking of purchasing him already and you havent even evented him yet.

Well I cant really ask any more of him then what he has done, he has been impecciby (sp)! behaved. And jumped everything bless him and shows real promise

You're saying all the same things about Connor as you were about Mac and you didn't buy him.... If they will let you I would event him a few times first to make sure he really does enjoy it as much as Spider.

Yes but Connor doesnt jump up then down! He jumps accross as he is only 5 and hasnt had the SJ way installed into him, he jumped the XC jumps far nicer them Mac ever did, although Mac was very honest he didnt enjoy it as much as he does SJing.

I will be taking Connor to a couple of events before I make a decision
 
You are really lucky that you get a chance to try them out fully before you have to make a decision. Have you got any pics of Connor?
 
Well yes but the original things I was going to do was fitten them do a few events then sell on. But Connor just seems too good to let slip!!

There are a couple of pics up in th PG if you can find them posted about a week ago, of when he arrived! Big long lanky chesnut about 17.3hh by Temple Croesus. Has no weight or muscle on him yet!!!
