Took both Spider and Mac to Norton Heath yesterday to do the Novice 21, getting them ready for event season.

Both were as usual impeccibly behaved! Sometimes forget Spider is 4 1/2!

Mac warmed up a little spooky and worried he hates other horses coming close to him, its ok when warming up for jumping but dressage I need to keep his head calm! Anyway he went in and as I was trying to chill him trotting round the edge they beeped the buzzer just as his ears were by the speaker and he shot up and then forward about 4 ft! Anyway did a good test considering!

Then warmed Spider up and they were running about 20mins behind so had to stay warming her up longer then I would have liked but she went super nice and forward concentrated and did a lovely test.

They were just out of the placings, think they would have been about 8th & 9th Mac got 64% and Spider 63% so very pleased with them.

On to Towerlands all weather event again Sunday, Mac is doing the PN class this time and Spider the Intro again, cant wait!

I decided to do them both in rising!! Will try sitting soon though!!

Got some lovely comments though. Judge said there was a lot to enjoy about spiders test. And Mac was a beautfull horse.

He got a 9 for his centre line which I was very pleased about!!!
