My mare has been really snorting lately and funny with her head tossing it around??

anything else that could help with this problem ?

i use one on my horse for dressage in the summer, she tends to shake her nose and snort lots because of dust and flies it helps her wonders.

Yes this is what my mare does i think i will just get one and try it x

Bloss has one - she has to wear it all year round tho as she has quite a severe tree pollen allergy.

She used to headshake to the point where she was unrideable, she'd want to always stop and rub her nose on her legs aswell. Now she has a net its worked wonders, shes also on Global Herbs Pollen-X which is great stuff :)

Did you get it diognosed by a vet if so how did you go about this ??

Seems to work for my horse... although he has had it with a comibination of that and anti-histamines and suppliement

Anti-Hs are a very expensive option, you have to feed a large amount for them to do anything.

Vet diagnosed Bloss with a tree pollen allergy after we carefully monitored her condition and when she got worse/better depending on what type of pollen was around her. My vet (who has written a thesis on headshakers) told me that anti-hs dont actually work and that as they dont do ''equine'' ones you have to feed human ones which are not very good for the horse long term.

Global herbs supplements are excellent, as like i said Bloss is very severe and all year round, with the supplement and her net i can manage her perfectly. You wouldnt even know she has an allergy if she didnt have her net on. She does have to wear a full face mask in the field aswell.

perfect thanks hun x will go and get net and global herbs

If you ring global herbs they are excellent, i get my other supplement from them too as they are suitable for pregnant mares and seem to work really well.

They are quite expensive but definately worth it. Bloss isnt a fussy eater at all but i have to introduce them slowly to her feed as they do smell really strong!
