Nose rubbed raw...pics!

my new boy has had a nasty looking sore appear this morning on his nose.. just one side at the moment anyway...
Any indications that you can think of...
I thought it could be an allergic reaction at 1st, looks like he has rubbed himself from an itch raw maybe on stable wall, but when I got him in tonight from field it seems to have got slightly worse and was bleeding more... = me baffled!!!

thanks... hopefully it won't have got any worse over night!

Could it be a fly bite thats itchy and he's rubbed?
