Ok bit of background have had Skye 7 years she is 16 years old and when i bought her she did everything in a pelham and was still strong. Have spent a fortune on bits and lessons to try and sort it i am now at a point where i school in a myler 02 loose ring ( as its dressage legal ) and hack out and jump in a neue schule universal, She is happy in her mouth ( have the dentist regulary) however am finding when i XC she is getting a bit strong and rather than change her bit am thinking of maybe trying a kineton or a worcester noseband as an alternative. Can anyone that has used one or had experience with one help me, had a look back through the searches and there seems to be mixed views on the kineton.
thnk you in advance

Pickle is very strong, I found that the NS universal did help but when I combined with a grackle noseband I had complete control

I have considered a grackle but she doesnt really cross her jaw to evade me just bears down on the contact, she never does it schooling or jumping and when XC she is fine coming into jumps it is the open stretches where she gets strong.
edited to add thanks for the reccomendation though

Have you considered a Drop Noseband? I found my horse almost stopped leaning compleatly when I used one of these. He was never strong to school (did lean though) but I used to hack out in a dutch gag, I now use a french link snaffle and drop noseband and he is 100 times better. I also school and jump with the same combination.
