I'm trying to find a plain cavesson, full, black ,
1 1/2 inch wide. Seems to be like trying to find rocking horse poo unless I'm looking in the wrong place!! Dont mind buying whole bridal if it's a reasonable price. Help pretty please!!

Try English Bridles or Horsemanship saddlery. Both do them. Horsemanship saddlery only make anatomical bridles so you might have to go with a whole bridle if you go with that one but if you have bridle with a buckle either side for the noseband you'll be ok.

Horsemanship saddlery used to do custom orders too. Worth asking if they still do.

Worth a look at English Bridles. They do lovely bridlework, and I imagine that they will have what you're after, or could make it for you.
I love their flat padded cavessons (even though I have a ridiculous Albion one with silver leather padding!)

I would second English Bridles, I have two and they are beautifully made.

I do too. I swapped my beautiful flat padded bridle for a hay bar because Charlie didn't like it. Then I sold Charlie. I think Wiggy would look beautiful in it but I have to see it on my friend's horse every day instead. At least Wig eats out of the hay bar though, Charlie didn't like it.

Fylde saddlery - they supply most of the show producers. All our showing bridles were from them
