Just bought a lovely John Whitaker bridle, I think the noseband is too tight as it sits in front of cheekstraps, is this right?

Meant to add I know it goes under the bridle as a whole in case anybody thinks I'm a numpty, I mean as it lies when looking at horse from the side.

I thought they always did:o So yes, if I was asked, I would say it was correct.

If not, then I have taught an entire generation of PC children the wrong thing:(

No the noseband straps should be nearly invisible as they're hidden by the cheek pieces. Lol yes I did think you were a numpty at first!

There we are then, sorry kids.

Personally, if I ever used nosebands, which I don't, I'd still put them infront of the cheekpiece, makes it all too bulky otherwise with the buckles and straps on top of each other. It also depends how many cheekpieces you have, for a double then the noseband straps look tidier in between the cheekpieces.
