Hi!
my horse is a lightweight cobby type who thinks he is a racehorse! This is all very well, but I have noticed that whenever he does strenuous exercise such as galloping on the beach, hunting or showjumping jump offs he gets a nose bleed about 20 mins after stopping. It's always out of one nostril, his right one. It's never bad, just a little trickle of blood. Is this normal? He really works himself up and is always quite out of breath after hard exercise because he gets so excited is this the reason? He is never bothered by the nose bleed and never acts at all different to normal? Thanks for your advice!
