does anyone else have a horse or pony that does'nt miss anything. people that pass the field, men working on the by pass in high viz, the clay pigeon shoot, she stands watches and shouts at them, one of the lads on a dirt bike next to her field she was racing him up and down her field, the look on her face talk about a grin, if she's in her stable looking out her window, anything that comes on the yard she dosent know, she shouts. or maybe i just have strange ponies
 
Yep totally! Eyes out on stalks, swivels his head and neck round to stare and gawp at anything that moves. If he sees something really interesting his neck fixes and there's no way I can move him. He also stares at the ponies and sheep in the fields around the school - no concentration! Bless him, he is very funny with it though. I was very proud of him for trotting past the sheep today without acknowledging it or breaking stride!
 
Yes... my boy doesn't miss a trick.

I am convinced if he was human he's sit in his front window twitching curtains and taking notes in a notebook!!

Mine misses nothing.

I swear she counts the lorries parked up (theres usually 3) when we're in the school... there were only 2 Sunday so we had to stop and stare...

AND she noticed the bit of broken fence (just past E) that one of the other horses had kicked out during a lesson... she was riveted by that....<sigh>

I've long since known to listen to her when she's insistent on stopping/slowing out on a hack. It invariably means theres someone behind, usually 5-10 mins behind, so I have to physically turn around to check way beforehand for her to move on. Then its either a runner or a bike that appears...its a wonder how her radar is so good !!! but as long as I acknowledge her prowess shes happy to carry on LOL !!
