Shouting "I'm going to die, I'm going to die". Not good for my confidence but just couldn't stop myself as I approached the jump. As an adult I should know better but the 12 year olds' I was riding with thought it hilarious:(

That's better than a man I taught last month who was having his first lesson and during his 3rd/4th trot(had been fine the first few times) yelled out 'I just can't do it' and proceeded to grab hold of fence-at about the height
of his knee!
Luckily the horse was brilliant and stopped straight away but I was so gobsmacked that after yelling to let go of the fence!! That it took me a few moments to get anymore words out!
Meanwhile his girlfriend who was also riding couldn't contain her laughter!
Hilarious yet terrifying moment!

Haha, RI built me a massive spread in one of my jumping lessons and I approached the grid shouting 'oh *****,oh *****,oh *****,oh *****,oh *****,'... RI explained to me that might have been part of the reason we refused it first time! :D
