Weezy

Right turn on to A road taken at a crawl with a big sweep, she scrabbled again but I couldn't stop as nowhere to do so and I had traffic behind - again and again she was creating
When I got to the yard I opened the jockey door and the first thing I thought was "oh wierd she has had a wee" except she hadn't, it was sweat, absolutely POURING off her
Hibiscrubbed her leg and put some Dermoblin on and chucked her into the field. She has come in 100% sound but have bandaged her up to be on the safe side and to protect the grazes from dirt.
Talking to the YOs daughter who is a vet student, she told me that apparently mares are FAR worse to travel than geldings, even more so if they have had a foal - to do with their pelvis apparently, but I had never heard that before although it makes complete sense (I know how knackered my pelvis is after having babies!)
So anyway, that was my day - not really been my week
