Please go to the PG to see what I mean.
Well after my Oh No post I left work straight away. The journey too/from work normall takes me about 25-30 mins depending on traffic, well it took me nearly 2 hours. I left work about 210 and got in at 405. The main road through Hillsborough was snided. The park had flooded and had flooded th road and had been coned off. I got fed up of waiting so drove through the flood - thank god for discos! The the police closed some more roads off. Dorve through lots and lots of flooded roads (quite fun actually) then just as I got nearer home I stopped to see if a stranded sole would like me to tow them to safety (good deed for the day) but they declined and said they would rather push it (what were they mad!?!)
So got home, changed and went to do the hossies, they were pissed wet through but happily eating in the middle of the field with no cares in the world. Fetched them into my new stables(!
!), fed them, changed their rugs and they went crackers when I turned them back out. So my field turned into a skating rink with them pratting around. Luckily they settled quickly but not a happy bunny with this weather.
Can someone tell him up there to stop it raining. We NEED sunshine and warm weather.
So how was everyones elses day, journey from work and to the horses?
