Looking at the skills of these riders I think we may look a bit more than stupid to start questioning hats etc or the lack of.
I can just see the Russian riders managing to pass under the belly of their galloping horse and back into the saddle with hard hat and body protector.
Have to say whilst watching this amazing collection of talent tonight I did wonder how long before the safety brigade appeared here.
Any chance of giving it a rest.

Yes marydoll I remember.....and if you rode into a jump like a div and came off, it was your own fault and not the instructors/school owner/jump manufacturer.......

I was there on the Saturday night and what most impressed me was the finale when hundreds of horses were in the main arena and not one misbehaved. It maybe wasn't that obvious from the telly. They had to stand there for quite a while and left the ring in sequence in an orderly file. Fab!
