Well I went ahead and bought the full cheek KK ultra and though I hope to god she likes it as £90 for something that isnt useful doesnt help the bank balance. Well our first lesson tonight in it and shes a totally different horse. Shes been more constant in her head with the outline, shes not even once tried to throw her head. Her bending is coming along a treat and so is the flexion etc. All because of the change of bit.
Im trying to get the video to download from the dvd so I can show you all how the girlie is coming along.
So best £90 ive ever spent on a bit!
 
That's brilliant... I have the KK Ultra loose ring snaffle and have been absolutely thrilled with it for the same reasons you have said. It made Grace's contact more consistent, easier to flex her and she wasn't backing off it all of the time like she was with the other bit.
 
its great when a plan comes together.oh the vid wont work (could be me though) - ive got it onto the computer which is a start so im slowly making progress.
 
Well Becki - i found out I dont have a kk ultra loose ring bit I have 2 of the training bits - shes gone well in it and likes it but the inconsistency of her work and the head throwing was getting to me a bit. Instructor recommended it really to help her with her bending as she really struggles to bend left. It just seems to have helped other areas too.

Ive just been looking at the website, how on earth would I be able to decide which one to buy? I usually have baron in a french link loose ring but to be honest I dont know if this is the best bit for him as I dont play around with it too often. I do know he doesnt like single jointed and leans less in a loose ring. If they are as good as you say I may try one but dont want to get the wrong one
