I was quite excited to have her home but apparently no such luck. Where she has been box walking the bandage has rubbed the wound so she has to stay until at least Friday. Boo.
You'd have thought the vet would know what Sedalin looked like wouldn't you?

Oh that's rrrrubbish :(

You would have thought they'd preempt such a problem if she was box walking...

Poor Nitty pony.

She must have heard a rumour I was coming and decided to take evasive action! :D Naughty little minx. I knew she wouldn't stay as quiet as she has been. Hopefully it'll look a lot better on Friday, other wise they'll hang on to her until the stitches come out. At least it's all mucking out I don't have to do. I bet she's filthy dirty if she's started box walking again. Horrid creature!

exactly PP. And they might even keep her over the weekend which means I'll get a lie in on Sunday morning I wouldn't other wise of had!

Thanks V. How is your little lad getting on now?

I must say I feel ridiculously sorry for myself. I've come home to sulk when really I should have cancelled the half day I'd booked and saved my holiday. Humph.

He is not ugly!!! Poor brown horse it must be hard enough being simple without being called ugly too.

This actually made me snort a little bit at my desk. People looked at me. Poor BH. I'll be nicer about him. He is a knobber though. You all know he is!

We were doing well and then last week she through a hissy fit about being left out in the field and came in hopping lame on her front leg (one out of only 2 working ones!) not wanting to put weight on it. Has been on box rest for the past week and is doing better so fingers crossed she just pulled the fetlock and has damaged the tendon :) Sorry to hear about Nitty. And poor BH, the one thing French has left going for her is that she's pretty damn gorgeous! :p

LOL! I too have the most beautiful field ornament, and she costs me pennies to feed as she's a right fatty :)

BUT, she can't be ridden, so Brown Horse has one up on her in that department!
