Well as the story goes, this has been the plan for a while but have been keeping it under wraps as I needed to do alot of research into her history and learn about her behaviour as she has a few issues (hence the free)

And well here she is...

She is stunning, has movement and looks to die for, her manners are great but can be strong on the ground, under saddle when in regular work is fantastic but when not in regular work, has tendancy too rear, and will rear with a new rider, back up at speed and the like but these are all things that with regular work are not a problem. Have been making sure that having her is the right thing to do.

I couldn't of asked for better owners, they don't want anything for her, they just want money for her tack, which is brand new and fitted to her!! £150!

Very pleased :D

Really nice! Do you know her breeding?

And... please don't take offence, but this is from someone who has sold rope halters in the past. Please never turn out or turn loose in one. Unlike headcollars, they don't break, and it only takes a moment. Particularly with that one, which is a bit big and she could potentially get a hoof or a shoe caught under it.

£150 though - let's hope you have many happy years together. :-)

Fantastic!!!!!! She is beautiful! Re the rope halter, did you realise you can move the knots on the nose and make it tighter? Sorry probably telling a granny how to suck eggs XX

Sorry totally forgot to put she is Welsh Section D

And yes I would never normally turn her out or any horse out with a rope halter, will be taking it off tomorrow and not turning her out in it again.

Everyone else has said that she has a bit of fresian in her but I think more than anything she is just so welsh!
She has Nebo Bloodlines, he is her grandsire :D

DD - move the knots? I tried that once and the knots were never the same again. :-))

Nebo bloodlines, very nice. She's certainly very good looking, how old is she?

I didn't touch her halter, I just left her as she arrived if that makes sense, it was easier, I will be changing her into a headcollar tomorrow as she can be a difficult to catch until she knows you!

She is amazingly pretty :D x

she looks so much like my mare you would think it was her but just checked and she is still in the field!:D My mare is the grandaughter of Nebo Black Magic her father was a thoroughbred. Which Nebo stallion is she from?

I hope it all goes well. Is it just the photos or has she got a sway back

Definitely just the photos, vet has been out recently and checked her over and gave the all clear :)

Just be careful, I loved my horses with issues until I had a nasty accident and broke my back. Please play careful

I know, I have weighed the options and I definitely think I have enough experience too deal with her, and have a lot of help on hand. She is being shared with a good friend who's dealt with these issues also so should be fine!

This is her passport breeding, she has very similar breeding to yours!

She is lovely, you never know she may just need her back and saddle sorting, for the rearing. Good luck

She is a lovely black beauty!
Thank you :D

She had her back checked, and had a saddler come and fit the saddle to her to make sure it was not back related, and got the all clear, so don't think it is that but I will definitely be looking to get a vetting done at some stage anyway.
Will be having the vet out soon to have her microchipped so will pay the extra there and then for her to give her a look over for anything obvious!

She looks lovely, x
Thank you, she is, just needs time and love!

Yes her breeding is simular to mine on her dam's side, the sire of mine was a thoroughbred called Abuttamman. I bred her myself from my cob mare who was the daughter of Nebo Black Magic. Mine is also black and she can be a little difficult to handle but she is 19 years old now so have got used to her quirkes! Good luck with her I am sure patience and time will pay off. I also have a Sect D 9 year old gelding from the same breeding line, bought him because of it, he is a little quirky too.

I'm sure as you learn to adjust to certain quirks things will smooth out quite nicely. Good luck with her, lovely looking and do keep us updated :)

Beautiful. I have a nebo welshie, very quirky at first to put it mildly, but with one to one riding and lots of consistent work he became a saint. Albeit a quirky one! So good luck as I've been there and have a horse to die for as a result.
