a girl started work, after getting diploma in horses, or something like that

then got an apprenticeship with us to get her nvqs
hasnt started them yet
and has done one month and told me she doesnt want to work with horses anymore
so when she gets paid, shes spending the money and leaving!!!

its not a shock, cos she was lazy and never really did alot... but why do people not commit themselves fully to something :@

rant over

I've been doing an HND in behaviour and welfare for the past 4 years

(the modules were changed whilst I was doing it so I had to pretty much go back to the start) and am really really struggling with it at the moment, but I've committed myself to it and certainly not going to give up now!

You must be pretty annoyed with her!

it wouldnt bother me how long it took her to do the nvqs (like you say youve struggled with it, that doesnt bother me)
its the fact that she started so why isnt she going to finish

its a month ??? surely it gets better after a month, or i guess shes just too lazy to do any of it...

and i think its unfair that she got the place and i didnt even get an offer of the option of doing them (im not full time, but i am over the holidays and i work satudays, and i would do the work and keep up with my a levels)

Hmm its frustrating isnt it, im a careers advisor and get loads of ppl coming in complaining the course is too much like hard work and can do they do an easier course??? im like

ppl are just lazy and want everything handed to them on a plate (for free) at the min- its very annoying!
