Inspired by LG, I plan to put Amber back in foal next year or maybe 2027. Mainly because she seems to be so happy and contented when blissed out on pregancy and lactation hormones, because she is a great mum and easy foaler, and because she breeds fabulous foals.

She's had 3, all with very good temperaments and who are well put together and move well.

I would breed with the aim of placing the horse to be ridden by a good amateur/pro. For the fun of raising another baby which I love, and then seeing a homebred horse out and about. So breeding for performance, not for me.

She is by Beach Ball (Echo Beach X OBOS Quality) out of a Classic Vision mare.

She is a 16.3 and chunky.

Suggestions please!!

A stallion I really like that is UK based and falls into that category of all round performance with good temperament is called Silvester. Not the most commercial out there, but I think the right kind of level for Amber.

ETA he’s on the list for one of my mares, who could also justify big EU jumper stallion, but I like him enough to maybe stay local for at least one foal

With her being 50% ID , I’d definitely look for more blood if you want performance .
I love Sylvester that IHW suggested , seems to throw really nice types . A lot of his stock did really well at the BEF a while back .
For me I’d be using Zambesi. I’ve met quite a few of his stock all from different mares . They all jump and jump well . Nice temperament too . He’s been on my list for quite some time . One I’d use on Aria /Amara if I wanted to add blood and scope

ETA .. I think he has a few young sons over here too . Have a look at Fruselli . I’ve met him and seen him out and about in his younger days . Was a gent back then. My friend bred him

Is there a specific discipline you're aiming for or general performance horse?
Eventing ideally. I want to travel the country feeling relaxed as someone else competes my horse! SJ would be ok too but eventing feels much more of a full day out. Deffo not dressage.

Leprince des Bois is another who throws good temps if you want more blood. But he does often add height and your mare is already quite tall...

See, I like both Zambesi and Fruselli (probably because I love Heartbreaker!), but I wouldn’t use either on a mare with a low % blood to make a decent prospect for eventing because they are proper heavy types of warmblood

My friend has a Sylvester yearling who has a fantastic temperament, she wants to do the same and be an owner of an eventer and she went to see one of the other stallions but really liked Sylvester, and so far hers has a really good nature and is very easy … good luck, that means more foal pics for us 😊😊

A good local option for an eventer is Paul Sims stallion . bartender . Pretty sure he’s got heraldik lines so would have the blood . I’ve met him too , lovely well mannered stallion. You could pop over to his yard and meet him , he’s just down the road from me

Silverster looks awesome. I would not really want a grey but's it's only 50:50 and if I place him/her with a rider then they are the ones getting show ready :D

Ooh that's a good offer! Day out drooling over Amber's future paramour!

I fell in love with Bartender when we parked next to him at an event this year. He was beautifully behaved and an absolutely stunning type of a horse- compact, powerful, moves and jumps…. Great shout!

Paul described him as a gelding to handle . He’s excited about him , I’m pretty sure he and Hannah bred him

I met him out eventing. Nice stallion

I’ve tried 2 TBs, as my original thought was to add blood. I used Revolution and Ansiei. Several times each. Amber never caught but it’s definitely an option
