I made a post the other day about my horse being a pain when taking the bit out, and not letting go. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=561835
It went from that, making the post, to a day of it coming off really nicely. To the next day when I do the same he reversed up still holding the bridle by the bit, reared up on the yard, and went all the way over as he slipped.
He is fine other then a very slight bump on his leg/shoulder area, where i think he cause the corner of the drain. Other then that completly sound.
Only now I cannot even get a finger in his mouth to have a look.
I had noticed his canines were possibly coming through with the bumps showing a bit, so I was going to bonjela them a bit for him. Cant even do that, to make things nice for him.
So I called the vet, and they are coming out tomorrow for a proper investigation. She said it could be a number of things, I could be teeth coming through, or wolf teeth issues, or an abcess, or a broken tooth.
Just to name a few.
So pony is having a few days off while we find out exactly whats going on. to react like that he must have quite a bit of pain in there.
Poor boy.
.... theres always something.
