Not even funny :(

Not only has my horse managed to throw off his shoe (And he literally had them done two weeks ago) He has also managed to tread on a nail, so now he's on box rest and poulticed, and instead of being out 24/7 he's being mucked out twice a day by me

Haha. It won't be for long but it's b****y annoying as he is also very fit and meant to be going xc schooling on friday... Grr! What beautiful timing horses have!
 
My farrier used to tell me he trained his customer's horses to drag their toes on the roads so the shoes wore out quicker so he had more custom! I'd tackle your farrier! Clearly he has been training your horse to pull his shoes off and tread on sharp things! x
 
One of the horses on my old yard ditched both back shoes two days after they were put on. The owner found them next to each other in the field. Dunno what happened, but, rest assured you are not alone on the shoe front x x
