Hi,
I have seen a few other people post 'how much' threads on here and it has made me wonder about my little boy. NO WAY is he for sale, just the way he hacks perfectly and is bold and brave jumping makes him worth his weight in gold to me.....but I am still curious!
Background: I bought him a few months ago, he was previously owned by an 11yr old girl so it took us a few weeks just to find trot - any leg meant 'go!' - we are slowly but surely getting there but we have a lot of getting to know each other still to do! For those who read my earlier posts, we got past the pigs last week - major achievement!!!
So...how much?? - I am pointing out all his bad points as well as his good!!!
14.1 Welshie Gelding coming up for 7yo
Excellent to hack, perfect in traffic, will lead or follow
Forward going and very sharp off the leg so not a novice ride.
Will happily jump an 85cm course. We have not tried higher yet. He can rush his jumping, and has on occasion ducked out so needs a competent rider (I am working on this lol). Has never stopped.
Bold and brave XC, no issues with water etc
Has nice paces but can get distracted (is nosy and looks around at things when schooling) so probably would not do a very good dressage test (YET). Also can sometimes lean a bit on the left rein.
Comes to call (usually), lovely natured in the stable, perfect to load, good to shoe, a little nervous with clippers. Lives in or out.
Has splints on his front legs that have formed and healed (passed a 5 stage vetting)
