Not getting lost

Does anyone else hate trying to find pleasure ride venues? I have no sense of direction and even if I read the directions like twenty times I'm still never sure which roads to go down. I'm always scared to death of meeting low bridges as well, which has happened a couple of times.

Is anyone good at finding these places? How do you not go wrong? I rarely had a problem getting to big horse driving trials or equestrian centres, but pleasure rides are usually a field in the middle of no where. Any tips?

I would drop the price given the finding but £1,000 is a big drop. How much is he for without the drop? PM if you prefer

Could you drop the google man down on any roads near the venue and have a nosey round? Or use something like Bing and take a look at the Ordnance Survey map to check the lie of the land.
