Just need to winge.
Had the vet out for Amber today and he has confirmed she has a bog spavin. Trotted her up and she was slightly unlevel but on the lunge she was very lame. He did comment that I had noticed it quickly (noticed a tiny swelling on Sunday).
So she is going to need an extra to check for bone fragments, then possible surgery. Hopefully she should be able to be worked after box rest etc, otherwise she'll be another pet to add to the collection.
Also had the vet look at Suzzie as we thought she looked like she might be pregnant. He gave her a physical and said no baby. He then looked at an abcess type thing under her chin, which turned out to be the drain hole from a fractured tooth. he managed to remove part ot it but she needs to have the rest taken out. Again this could result in surgery.
Going to get the vet out to do x-ray and tooth removal next week and then take them in the week after if needs be.
