Ted was the perfect gent today at Bell. But things not to good

I can't ride him anymore he has to retire as a lawn mover and only age 14. He has attaccia ( spelt wrong ) and no strenght in his back end, the vet nearly knocked the poor sod over. He is very unbalanced and wobbly. Got 6 week coarse of sterroid and then back for a check up to see if these are helping. He needs a flat field ( few and far between ) Was also told that i will know when its time to say enough. Feeling very sorry for myself and Ted at the mo and have probably not explained things very well but its been alot to take in

My mare went into Bristol Vets Hospital 3 years ago with suspected wobblers. They mentioned attaxia too, but with x-rays etc. nothing was proven.

She had 9 months off just in case, then we (including horsie psychic) came to the conclusion that she had knocked herself out and it was concussion.

How did you notice your boy was poorly? Dont lose hope x
