Warning smug alert !!

So, sold a really super pony a good while a go to a really nice family who we keep in touch with.

When I had the said pony up for sale back then we had one particular (very snooty) woman constantly ringing up enquiring about him. She literally asked a million questions, sent her friends up to view him, kept trying to 'catch me out' saying he couldn't be as honest as I was describing him and asking for a mulitude of videos and photos etc. She never came to try him herself as said she needed to make sure 'it would be perfect for her son first before she would get in her car'!!

The woman then spoke to my young daughter and asked if the pony had ever stopped. My daughter very truthfully told her that the pony had never stopped in the ring but he did stop once going through a grid which was the wrong stride for him.

Well, the woman then rang me with a torrant of abuse saying I was a liar and was trying to sell a dodgy stopper !!

Obviously, my patience by then had ran out so I told her to het lost (or stronger words to that effect).

I then find out recently that the said woman had been 'following' the pony's career from afar and was quite obviously green with envy how well he was doing in his new home.

And what a career he has had, namely;

Went up to a JA in BSJA

Competes up to 2* pony eventing and was short listed for the junior british squad and invited to compete abroad representing GB

Qualified for the Dengie, Burghley and area Pony Club Championships every year

Shown successfully to county standard and we are off to see him compete at HOYS tomorrow in the Working Hunter Pony of the Year !

So to that woman (and other's like her) . . . . . . 'in your face you timewasting nutter' !!

(I feel better for that LOL) :-)

to Her!! :D

He came 6th !! I'm soooo proud of them. There was some top notch ponies in his class and they jumped fantastic and did a super show. The rosettes they won were lovely.

Very well done Holly & Eddie :-)
