Not happy

My new boy was going to his first show at the weekend, I have been so looking forward to it, got a phonecall yesterday he's got a bloody cough!!!
She does say he is bright and well, I think someone must have been telling him he has a party to go to this weekend and he is crying off sick! Does he not realise how long I have waited for this

If it wasnt that he had to stay on a wagon for several hours and it wasn't his first he would be going. I think the likelyhood is he wants to play with his mate Lucifer adn he has probably been told that Lucifer isnt going this weekend. Bloody kids!!!!

Just explain to him that this now means he has to do even better at his next "first" show!

Your not kidding, because his next show is a judge ride! If he had a brain he would realise that first time it would be better for his jockey mum to ride!! He isnt known for his brains though and has the attention span of a goldfish so i can imagine disappointment will be plentiful with him!
