Not horse related, need a rant!

Some of you may remember, but I've had a horrible year with cancer spreading to my bones and needing a major op to rebuild my pelvis which had been eaten away.
So, my husband offers to take us away for Christmas to Dubai so I can achieve one of my 'bucket list' dreams of swimming with dolphins. However, insurance quotes are coming in at around £3000!!!!!
I am clinically stable, but on chemotherapy, which I will be for the rest of my life due to the type of cancer I have. I feel like its adding insult to injury and it's made me feel really low......

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you've had such a tough year, although its great news that you're clinically stable. Could you possibly get a letter from your encologist stating this so whoever you get an insurance quote from can pass this information onto the Underwriter who will ultimately insure you.
I hope you have an amazing time swimming with dolphins, what a wonderful thing to look toward too. X

I am so sorry to hear this. They do not make anything easy for you, it always comes at a cost. Most insurance companies will not touch me due to everything that is wrong, so I really do feel for you. I understand they have to weigh up the risk factor, before someone jumps on me but they really do not make life any easier for you, which with everything that you have been through and still have to go through is really not what you want or need. So feel free to Rant anytime. I do hope that you manage to sort something out, good luck with it x

Speak to someone in the cancer charities they may be able to point you in the direction of a good fair company.
My friend is involved in dreamflight, i'll ask her what company they use and then pm you, it might be a few days before i see her though
