just gt back from holiday to find my mobile blocked and my bank accounts drained

They must have got my details from my mobile as I did get a text to say confirm activity on your account to which I replied no. As the date phone blocked 6th sept and activity started 7th , They moved money from all my accounts into my personal one then transferred all the money in large transfers from £ 1500 to the biggest £ 5000. I now have no money :(:(

So guys and girls if you get a text from your bank delete it and speak to them I had no idea of this as I went away 4th Sept and got back yesterday. So they timed it I was away.

to top it all it took 2 hrs to get my car started to go to EE and find out what went wrong y blocked and they said activity on your account

So I fell so low now what an end to a wonderful two weeks :(:(

What rotten pigs!!!! As a general rule though you should never reply to or correspond with ANY online/text claiming to be bank or Paypal etc. only ever in person.

Yes there is a name like nutella or something like that but cannot get online banking till they remove the block, the bank has a print out of all the transactions

There was something on GMB this morning about scams and bank phone numbers being hacked so when a number flashes up it will be the same as your banks! I recently noticed £20 taken out of my bank and only noticed because it was during a period when I had no bank card to actually use and I was in work the whole day (dd snapped it in bits!) I rung my bank and they came back telling me it had been used in my local newsagent! I knew there was no possible way my card could have even been used by anyone as it was in 3 pieces in the kitchen draw where it had been for 3 days previous(I was in no rush to order another as I was spending OHs money lol and I could still pay feed bill over the phone) anyway lady from bank said it was handed over to fraud squad but as it was a Friday that the fraud squad wouldn't contact me till at least Monday as they don't work weekends. Next day (saturday) had a missed call and voice message saying i had missed a call from santander about a case I recently opened and left a number to call back on, I rang back straight away and the automated message said that the office was closed!?? How could they ring me if it was closed!? Really odd I thought, I googled the number they rung from and it was a santander number but lots of reviews of people being called by same number to people who say they have never even banked with them!? It's very odd, I havnt pursued it, it would cost more on my phone bill than what was taken and i had the card cancelled but it does show just advanced these scammers are getting (I think, it is odd in my case, I don't have a clue what's gone on but I can't be bothered to pursu for the same of £20)

Do you have anymore details on this? Did you text them with your passwords? If shouldn't be possible for them to acces your accounts through you simply replying to a text unless you sent them sensitive info. Hopefully with some more info people can avoid it in future:)

So sorry to hear of your loss, I hope it works out OK in the end.

No I sent them no info I deleted the text I got but in replying it gave them my number apparently it is no difference than when you reply to spoof emails. They send them random and you reply giving them. The block on my phone was the 6th and the text was sent on the 5th, So too coincidental I think

Have received most of my new cards

have a form to fill in and get to them within 14 days
the main culprit is NETELLER so remember that name if you don't want to be a victim of fraud like me. :(
