My son has reached the age of leaving school and has successfully sat on his backside all summer not doing anything despite the constant whinging from me about getting a job (especially to pay back the humungous phone bill the little git has run up over the summer holidays)
Well I know he wanted to go back to sixth form, but changed schools last January which really messed up his exams, different curriculum and different examing boards!!! Well he at least came out with GCSE grade D's!!!!!
Well he went off to school yesterday for the sixth form intake and has now signed himself up for THREE YEARS!!!!!!! I am just so proud that the child that never seems to listen, never does as he is told etc etc, has made such a sensible decision!!!!!
Sorry but Proud Mother syndrome has kicked in!!!

Good for him! It's really quite gratifying when you realise that they have turned into sensible young people. It must have been very difficult for him changing schools/boards so late in the GCSEs course, so he did darn well to cram two years learning into two terms.

My son has also just entered sixth form after a crop of not too awful GCSEs, having moved back to the UK after four years in Spain. He is now taking 4 A levels in the sixth form.

What is your son doing, subjects wise?
