mine is an unrugged woolly mammoth - the first time I have ever allowed any of my horses to go "au natrel" - and he is just about the happiest horse on the yard, and he is keeping really clean (surprisingly!) and is as warm as toast!
He does come in overnight however, I wouldn't be able to sleep soundly if he wasn't!!! (see, I am not that heartless!)
