Really am annoyed....

A pony was advertised a couple of months back so I got in contact and said I was interested but they were slow getting back to me about when they were free for me to go and see it, but had mentioned they were available on the Friday so I booked a day off work to go and see said pony. Got a email in the week to say on they had thought about it and her sister had decided to have it so was no longer for sale - so had to cancel my day off etc.

I was very polite and said if sister ever decided to sell could they let me know as I really liked him. Got an email on weds of sister that used to own said pony to say he was back on the market and I could have 1st refulas as I had asked them to let me know. I gave my mobile number and my Facebook details as I have problems getting online for her to contact me back etc.

Still slow at getting back to me but I kept sending emails or fb messages as I had no contact number for either of them but was still interested in the pony. Got a message on fb today to say he has been put back on said horse site for sale £250 more than he was for sale 1st time round!

So I just phoned the number on the add and asked what's going on as I had received an email to say I could have 1st refusal and to query the price to see if they would come down to what he was when I first wanted him. Oh and price on email this morning was £150 cheaper than add price.

Reply from seller "I don't know anything about it, price is the price although they have put ono and I have a woman coming to see him tomorrow with a trailer!"

I know sellers get messed around but sometimes the buyers do to, I am so annoyed a being messed around by them for a second time.

Rant over cake and tea for those who reach the end.

Apologies but just needed to vent!

That sounds really odd, I feel sorry for you, keep your cash for some one who wants your business :(

I agree. You haven't been to see the pony yet, so nothing really lost. He might not have been right for you anyway. I'd look around for another pony and a seller who is worth doing business with.

What annoying people though.

I agree buyers get messed around, I am looking for a plain old hack.
have replied to four ads now, left messages, on all the numbers have
tried numerous times to contact sellers only one has bothered to say the horse was sold, why can't they edit the ads to say now sold.
