He was going to do just dressage, but after going round some XC fences & doing some SJ, Chris had decided to Event him instead. He is such a lovely stallion, IMO. Approved: Westphalian, Oldenburg & hopefully the Hanoverian society as well.

I will see what I can do.

He is based in Somerset.

He traces to Ladykiller being by Lancer III (Holst) ex Bartina (Westf). And he can jump a full course at that height!

Well then Weezy you would know about his sire then;
Lancer III -
At the German National Championship, Toni Hassman reached the first round of the finals for 6 year olds with Lancer III. He was a state-owned stallion after his first selection (spring 1993). serving at the Westphalia Landgestut Warendorf. In August 1993 he passed his test in Munster-Handorf with a total score of 131.24 points, coming in third of 75 participants. Lancer III went on to finish third in show jumping with 133.32 points. He is described as having good gaits with excellent propulsion and good conformation.

Lancer III went on to enjoy advanced international showjumping successes under Toni Hassman and has proved to be a top class stallion.

I'm sorry I'm gonna annoy everyone now by saying i think he looks quite weak over the loins and slightly croup high so i wouldn't use him on my mares.

I can see where you are coming from, funnily enough my mare is weak in the loin area too - however, I would like to know how much work he was in when that first pic was taken, I would have thought that, with work, his um could because much more pleasing.

Loxley completed his 100 day test at Neustadt in 2000, his index values were 107.80 overall, 117.82 for his jumping and 94.82 for Dressage, scoring 9 for character and temperament. His Continental youngstock are just embarking on their competition careers. He will be advertised in H&H later this month. He is in training with Alice & Alexander Peternell and the photo was taken when he was quiet young he was born '96. The grading looks at confirmation if it was that bad he would not have passed. He has great limbs & temperment & as I said a gent with his mares.

I didn't say his conformation was bad just that it was quite weak on the back end apart from that he's a nice horse. But can I ask if you are asking for advise about using him on your mares or if your just advertising him on the forum?

No I am not advertising him, I was asked for more info so I am providing it. I also believe they have taken out ads with H&H & have paid a few hundred to do so. I was going to use him last year & my friend has a mare waiting to foal this year.
