Not liking medication - tips for tasty addition

I give powdered supplements mixed in natural yoghurt and salmon oil, they have raw food or Wainwright’s trays for breakfast, tablets are easily hidden in there (although Zak would sort through and spit out anything so was wormed like a cat)

When my old boy was poorly last year (just before I lost him) all the usual options had stopped working, he absolutely would not take his meds, vet suggested pill pockets which are soft and mould around the tablets, I tried him with them with no tablets at first and he loved them, I fully expected him to spit the tablets out when I first tried them but he ate them with no problem, in the last couple of days they were the only thing he would eat without any persuasion, the ones I used were Vivi Treats

If you slightly microwave a bit of cheddar, you get can mould it round the tablet, leave it to set and play a game with treats and put it in the mix

Maybe you have already found something….but just in case, for years now we have used either Dairylea cheese spread or Simply Cheddar spread….
With all our rescue dogs all ages, all sizes, wrapping the tablet in a scooped out lump worked every time…usually presented in a teaspoon or on the end of my finger!
