Its that old guilt feeling ! I have one horse that is retired through unsoundness and he loves it. The other one (the nappy one) I could not ride and just let him scuff about in the paddock, as if he gets sold I will not get another one so wont have anything to ride anyway.
I could afford to keep him but feel guilty as hes 15 and think hes too young to retire, I dont suppose he does. Its no ones business but yours as long as horse is happy and looked after is it ?
