These are my babies after 9 months of living out, just coming out of a harsh winter and a 6mth drought.
The Not So Little One is 2 years 8 mths old and has grown almost a hand since I last saw him in December.
They're both looking v moth-eaten and dirty, but at least healthy and happy :) (LC is on my right)

Both looking fabulous, well done. they are going to be stunning horses. Please remind me what their breeding is?

PF is a 13yo TB by Tirol (so not actually a baby ;) ), LC is her son, by a Silla Argentino (Holsteiner- Cor de la Bryere bloodlines) stallion called Remonta Habano. He's been sold to the US
I took these photos of him in 2007 and decided then and there I had to breed him to PF. It helped that UncleSr was his rider and took a fancy to PF :) :)

Wow they are looking good! Love LC's daddy can see why you wanted to use him:)

I can also see a slight resemblance to a painting you have just done for us, LC certainly has the 'air' of Sir about him:):D

Wow, does LC ever look like his mummy! You must be very excited to see them again---are you staying over there for the time being?

...and, errr... ....any news of Sofanor? Still have a soft spot for him...

They're looking veeeery scruffy but then all the other horses living out are as well ;)
Itching to give them a good scrub and trim manes. Can't really bath at the mo because of the drought.

Not sure I'm out here for, but not more than a couple of months, I hope.
I'll have to ask about Sofanor. He's not at old yard, but the babies are turned away elsewhere. Will let you know :)

Another glad you put the names above the pics! LC really is the spit of his mummy. They don't look that scruffy, well not for that much time off. Very glossy too.

Under the circumstances, they do look pretty good. LC has a much thicker mane and tail than PF (very pleased about that as hers are very wispy) and also a willy, which helps tell them apart from a distance :p :p

They both look amazingly good considering they've been out all this time - credit to their 'minder' while you were away :). Did they remember you? Agree with the peas in a pod comments above - extraordinary resemblance. Great to have two such lovely horses.

PF remembered me. Not sure LC did. I'm very pleased with the place they're at; they don't get much one to one attention, but they're very happy there.
