Onley one of my hosses has any eggs on him, and that was just a small amount, the others non at all. I have onley seen one fly this month!
 
it's the first year i've actually managed to kill one while it was pestering the horses and all except my grey had eggs on their legs:rolleyes: but since that one incident not seen evidence of any:)
 
I was thinking it was because Ihad moved but I havent seen a single fly or egg.

However there are some nasty horse flies about this year or here in west sussex. I have had cellulitus from one and Samba who does not have sweet itch has come in covered in lumps, she never did that last year.
 
Mines been covered in them! Insides of both front legs everytime & his damn feathers, half hr getting them off only to be back by the thousands the following day!
 
Here, in wet and miserable Devon, I've not seen any bots for 2 years, they obviously only like warm, sunny weather. Every cloud and all that.:rolleyes:
