we have more but ran out of time!

What do you think??

They all look great! Is the first pic really a Sec A?! He looks really tall :D

Personally I'd have a touch more weight on Cheeky but then that's just my preference.

I think they all look great, I'd love to ride at your yard! Quick question, did Boss spend some time at Hartpury? He looks just like a horse I knew there with the same name!

Well I am clearly very biased, but Boss must surely be the most handsome school horse that ever lived?!

He looks fab :)

I agree, Boss looks very handsome ;) And having had a xc lesson on Midnight at the weekend I can confirm that she feels very well!

They look great H, in the flesh as well as on pics.

this is hall place nr reading isn't it! rode there in feb (i think) at a friendly competition between reading, exeter and southampton universities. i rode wilbur for dressage (i'm told he's been sold now) and brie for jumping - such a sweet pony. lovely horses! reading uni are lucky to have a yard with such nice horses nearby to train at.

I think they all look in fabulous condition, all look tremendously well, fit and all of them look happy! But personally there's something I don't like about the look of most of their feet? Particuarly the back feet?

I never realised Boss was at HP, I followed his eventing on here in the good old days ;)

They are barefoot behind. That's how they naturally wear. They end up squared off due to the arena sand. They do a lot more he's in the arena than private horses. Thanks for the lovely comments!

They all look brilliantly cared for. It's nice to see them all wearing clean tack too! :D

Unfortunatley, standards are not so high at the schools around here; although the horses are healthy, they do not gleam and look happy as yours do.

Just curious, in some of the pictures, the hooves look a little rough (not just the backs, and if they're not going well bare it might be worth putting back shoes on a few too?). If it were just one horse that had hooves that were a bit off then I would suggest you speak to your farrier, but as the problem seems to be consistent through a lot of horses that he/she shoes/trims then it might be worth trying someone else?

Does the one pony have a club hoof? sorry, I can't remember his name, but does it ristrict his work at all?

:)

your horses look immaculate, I truly believe all RS horses should look like yours, they look like privately owned horses ( which is how they should be!)

They shine more than my two! All look fit, healthy and very happy, and very well looked after! Looks a lovely place to ride :)

IMO they all look exceptionally well and are a credit to you :D Especially like Rudi not that I'm a sucker for a chestnut ISH mind
Didn't realise Boss was with you now, he's looking very well how old is he now?

Boss has been here for a while. He is in his late teens I believe. He doesn't realise! He still wins everything and loves to jump. We keep it easy for him. Jiffy, thanks really hooves. None of them are unlevel without hind shoes, they are hot shod in front every four to six weeks by a good farrier.

I'm not sure what you know about the riding school system but they are inspected by the abrs bhs and the council and none comment on their feet. They are all sound and in full work
None of them have a club foot! Might be a bit upright and boxy but def not club.

I think all of the horses are a credit to you:D
Riding schools and riding school horses get such bad press, if we didn't look after them they wouldn't be able to work to their best, in fact I would go as far as to say they are often fitter and in better condition than a lot of private owned horses !
