Not strictly comp riders but how do you think our school horses are looking??

I'm not sure what you know about the riding school system but they are inspected by the abrs bhs and the council and none comment on their feet. They are all sound and in full work
None of them have a club foot! Might be a bit upright and boxy but def not club.

Sorry, I have just had a look back through and I can't see the hoof that I was on about either  maybe I was getting confused with another picture?

That's ok. Its hard with the ponies to keep their weight in check. Luckily we have some willing kids to school them and puff them out every night!

Great to see a bunch of school horses looking so uptogether and well, thats a rare sight. Thanks for sharing and well done, they look fab :)

They all look great! Especially the oldies! Much better nick than any riding school horses I have seen here!
Can I steal Ellie? She lovely!
Only comment is I think Nessie could carry a bit more weight, but that is being really really picky! :)

Boss has been here for a while. He is in his late teens I believe. He doesn't realise! He still wins everything and loves to jump. We keep it easy for him. Jiffy, thanks really hooves. None of them are unlevel without hind shoes, they are hot shod in front every four to six weeks by a good farrier.

He's jumping?! He wouldn't go anywhere near poles at Hartpury! He is definitely happier! I'd love to come and ride there..

Indeed, they are the best kept RS horses I've ever seen. They all look in amazing condition and it's lovely to hear that they get to go out and about to compete and therefore not get bored going round and round in circles in the school their whole lives.

All look very well with lovely clean, well fitting bridles :)

How many greys though?! You do well to keep them all Daz white - was it bath day when the pics were taken? :D

Thanks for the lovely comments. They wear fly sheets when they are out so stay pretty clean ( most of the time!).

Oh and a quick pic of Boss jumping for those of you who know him:

I think I recognise that first rider ;) There's another pic of him jumping in my sig!

They look great! Sound and happy in their jobs. I LOVE LOVE LOVE good, well cared for school horses - they are the salt of the earth!

And it's a real trick to keep a string of them looking and working well. I used to run a large "high end" school so I know very well what's involved and how much pride I took in having the horses doing well.

They are a real credit to you. :)

Edited to say I love April. She looks a wise old soul. I was so fond of some of the old campaigners we had, I still miss them.

What a gorgeous bunch!!! This must be the heaven of Riding Schools... they all look sublime :)

I'd have to go along with this :) But I am SO going to have William, he is MINE :D

Isn't it interesting that the majority of the people who piled in with condition criticism on another thread haven't commented on this one - not quite so quick on the "Praise" button  Sorry, charlie76, not trying to provoke a row or make your thread controversial, just a gentle observation :p

Thay look fantastic. You are right to post pics, and be proud of them. You are an amazing advert for good school horses/ponies and your clients are lucky imo :)

Lovely to see Boss looking so well. They all look great. Can I have Cheeky & Pheobe & some roller blades so I can ride Pheobe!

I know absoloutely nothing about horses, conformation, show ponies and have no intelligent input for this thread. I also really cant be bothered with ponies. Having said that can i have Phoebe please ? :-) I think i could fall in love with her!!!
