Do you guys remember when I was looking for a decent TO rug to keep B snug in proper English temps, compared with milder Cornish temps, and also travel boots back in December? Both items were purchased from the same company that I believe only does mail order and they came well recommended. The travel boots (only used once I know, but on a journey from Cornwall to Cambridge) are fabulous. The TO rug, less so! It's supposed to be "proven waterproof & breathable 1680D Ballistic Nylon Outer one on the toughest and most durable materials on the market" and yet it has a few nicks around the tail area (fencing is only electric and she no longer has company) and yesterday she was brought in after being out for 4 1/2 hours, the last 2 hrs in heavy rain and the rug was soaked through!! And I really mean soaked through - it was still wet through this morning!!!!! She has only been wearing the rug since 12th Jan, so less than 2 months wear! I'm not a happy bunny!

Well - it's just a guess, but I think you are talking about the same company i had major touble with.....

The customer service I experienced was shocking, so not sure how you will get on if you complain.

Thing is they are very highly recommended by everyone, so they must be doing something right...

Sounds like you might have a problem with the rug. Have you contacted the company?

Oh Lordy, don't say that! I have sent them an email, I was courteous, but still socked it to 'em! Have pm'd you!

Get in touch with the company, you certainly seem to have a faulty one. Mine has coped with horrendous weather for 2 years and never shown any sign of leaking.

I didn't realise you had one? I am waiting for them to reply to my e-mail, though I actually need to go to bed now, so will check back tomorrow or the next day!

I got my old lad their Storm Buster (the one with the neck cover included). I must say I have not had any problems with it what so ever.

He lives out 24/7 and it has never got soaked.

He had a full clip at the weekend, so it has gone back on him; just until he adjusts to the temp changes and I can put a lighter one back on. We have had nothing but rain for 3 days solid now and he is dry as a bone!

So, it sounds like you must have a dud one.

Hope they sort it out for you.
